Patients at East Tennessee Children's Hospital have many individual needs that your donations can help them purchase. From diapers to milk warmers and from compression clothing to adaptive shoes that fit over ankle braces, your donations help parents obtain needed items like these for their children that may otherwise be unavailable to them.

Your Donations Can Go To Purchase:
Preemie Diapers $28 - 100 packs of diapers
These are tiny specialty diapers worn by our NICU babies. Newborns average 8 to 10 diaper changers per day.
Nitrile Exam Gloves $110 - 10 boxes of gloves
Nitrile gloves are used for patient exams and protect our patients with latex allergies. They are stronger and more durable than latex and are more puncture- and chemical-resistant.

Lead Vests $700 each
These vests are worn by our patients during x-rays. They protect our patients from needless radiation during their procedure.
Symphony Breast Pump $1,150 each
The Symphony Breast Pump and Trolley is a durable hospital grade breast pump designed to assist in earlier establishment of milk supply, and building and sustaining higher volumes for longer periods of time. Moms can produce up to 50% more milk in the first 2 weeks following delivery.
Symphony Trolley $275 each
Purchasing the trolley allows us to roll the pump to the mothers, keeps the pump protected from dangerous falls to the floor, and aids in ensuring the pumps do not get packed up at discharge and taken from the hospital.
Waterless Milk Warmer $750 each
The Waterless Milk Warmer is used to thaw and/or warm breast milk. The nutritional value of the milk itself is not destroyed or changed for our NICU patients with low immunities.
Compression Clothing $80 each
These items of clothing help to calm and sooth children with sensory challenges. They consist of compression shirts, pants and shorts. They are ordered specifically for each patient.
Adaptive Shoes $60 per pair
These shoes fit over ankle and foot braces. They have removable soles for adjustable depth and use of custom orthotics. There are multiple styles depending on needs of the patient.
Switch-Adapted Toys $65+ each
This is an adaptive switch that allows a child with Cerebral Palsy and related disorders to activate a toy that they would otherwise not be able to play with and can practice at home. There are many different types and styles to fit the individual child.
