Life is about transitions and new adventures. I have 19 years of experience as a general pediatrician in Middle Tennessee, but I have only recently returned to East Tennessee to realize my dream of coming home to the community who taught me.

I truly enjoy helping people. I love getting to know patients and watching them develop from newborns to young adults. What could possibly be a more joyful job than that?

My husband and I have three sons who range in age from 15 to 25. My practice philosophy is to listen to the instincts of the child’s parent and be sure we are all comfortable as we can be at the end of the visit. It would be my honor to be entrusted to help care for your child.

I have always loved science and knew I wanted to be a doctor from a young age. I love that it provides the opportunity to learn new things every day and establish meaningful relationships while helping others. I love interacting with my young patients and establishing relationships with families in this community.

I love the autumn and watching the leaves change color. I also enjoy spending time with my family and cheering on the Vols.

Since I was young, I loved learning about the human body in school. I also knew that I wanted to work with children, so I combined the two and became a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.

I have walked alongside parents as their children’s P.N.P for more than 13 years. I don’t take parents’ trust for granted. I love seeing a child’s world as they smile, laugh, and describe their thoughts and feelings to me; their enthusiasm for life is contagious.

I have been blessed to adopt three wonderful children. We love being with extended family, attending church activities and just living life together. I look forward to meeting you and your child. I am eager to walk this journey with you to see your child mature into a healthy young adult.
