Diagnosing pediatric kidney conditions can be difficult when children don’t have the words to describe their pain or discomfort. We only treat children, so we understand and take the time to form positive relationships with all of our patients. At your child’s first appointment, our team will take a detailed health history and perform a biopsy to learn more information about your child’s kidneys. This is a safe procedure where the doctor obtains a sample of the patient’s kidney to test it for infections and abnormalities. We may also perform blood tests, urine tests, ultrasounds of the kidneys, and CT or MRI scans.
Our team will walk alongside you and your child during diagnosis, treatment and beyond. Should your child require chronic care, we will be with you every step of the way and help your child enjoy the best quality of life.
