Your Appointment With The Pediatric Cardiologist

What to Expect at your First Appointment

At your first appointment, we take special care to complete a thorough exam, history and diagnostics. This visit typically takes about two hours.

We specialize in making you and your child feel comfortable. From the bright colors on the wall to the kid-sized chairs in the lobby, our goal is to make every visit easy and excellent. Along with seeing a board-certified pediatric cardiologist, there are a few things you could experience at your first visit:

• Check vital signs like heart rate, blood pressure, height and weight
• Electrocardiogram (EKG) which gives information about the rhythm of the heart
• Echocardiogram, an ultrasound where we can create images of the heart

All of these tests are painless. We use the information to create a customized treatment plan for your child.

Parking

Please park in Parking Garage A when you arrive for your child's appointment. A map of our campus, including all parking garages, is on our Parking and Check-in page.
