Not a lot of explanation going on unless I press for it. I ask a lot of questions and have to dig for more than a quick answer. I appreciate thorough discussion of lab results, but It can seem like they have not been thought over for very long. Provider does take extended time to talk through things with me If I really ask a lot of questions, though. She does typically ask If I have any more questions to make sure I leave satisfied.
