Government Relations
Healthcare is often affected by government policies. Our government relations team at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital routinely works with local, state and federal officials to best navigate regulations that promote the best possible outcomes for our patients and families.
As one of only 31 independent non-for-profit pediatric hospitals in the country and the only one in Tennessee, our team is committed to working with lobbyists and officials across the state to ensure positive results for children in our care. We are reliant on the community’s support and that includes government organizations at all levels. Our team serves on many boards in the community and maintains positive relationships with political leaders and legislatures. Leaders at Children’s Hospital advocate daily for the future of pediatric healthcare and the children in this region.
We are members of the Tennessee Hospital Association, Children’s Hospital Alliance of Tennessee and Children’s Hospital Association.
