How to Apply

Applying for a position at East Tennessee Children's Hospital can be easy and convenient. You can do this using any online device such as a smart phone, a tablet or a regular computer.

Applying In-Person

If you are unable to register and create an online profile, or if you need assistance in order to search for a job opening or to submit an application, please contact us by calling 865-541-8267. You may also apply in person at our Human Resource Offices Monday - Friday between 8am and 4:30pm.

Applying Online

Step 1: Review available job opportunities

Search for a position online that matches your skills, education, past work experience, and interests. You can view all available jobs or enter keywords such as "nurse" to find specific openings. If you see a position that interests you, click on the highlighted link to read important information related to the job and the required qualifications.

Step 2: Register online

Before you can submit an application, you will need to register for an account. You will be asked to provide contact information, as well as an email address. If you are unable to finish the application process at this time, you can save your application and finish it later. By creating this account, you will also be able to check the status of your application at a later time.

Step 3: Submit an online application

If you find a job you would like to apply for, click the "Apply Now" button. Please be sure to provide complete and accurate information on your application. You will also have the option to upload a resume if you’d like. Please be sure to enter all of your previous work experience on the application form, even if it is included on your resume.

The length of the application process varies, depending on your computer and the type of Internet connection you are using. Typically, an application can be completed in about 30 to 60 minutes.

You will know that you application was received and is being reviewed when you receive an automated email confirmation.

Step 4: Check the status of your application

You may login to the job board at any time to check the status of your application. You also will receive an email at the email address you provided if your application status changes. If you are selected for an interview, you will be contacted by phone or text message using the phone number listed on the application.

Once you have submitted your application, it will be reviewed by our Human Resources department who will work with the hiring department’s managers in order to assess each candidate and select the best most qualified candidate for the job.
