VOLthon Dance Marathon Presented by UT Federal Credit Union Raises Over $315,000 For Children’s Hospital

VOLthon’s Dance Marathon presented by UT Federal Credit Union raised $315,044.70 (nearly $44,000 more than 2025’s event) for Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital.

The event was held this past Saturday, February 21st at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Student Union and Pilot Company Grand Ballroom with over 700 students in attendance. The 12-hour dance marathon raised funds to support the expansion and renovation of the Hogs for the Cause Hematology/Oncology Center at Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital. This new space will provide additional room and offerings for the patients and families routinely visiting for treatment. Children’s Hospital ambassadors also attended the event to share their stories and engage with students.

This was the program’s 31st anniversary, which has raised over $3 million for Children’s Hospital since its creation. VOLthon is the University of Tennessee Knoxville's largest student-led philanthropy. Click here for photos from the event.
