VOLthon Dance Marathon Presented by UT Federal Credit Union Breaks Fundraising Record for Children’s Hospital
The VOLthon Dance Marathon, presented by UT Federal Credit Union, raised a record-breaking $271,257.56 for East Tennessee Children’s Hospital.
The event was held this past Saturday, February 22nd at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Student Union and Pilot Company Grand Ballroom with over 600 students in attendance. The 12-hour dance marathon raised funds for the hospital’s area of greatest need. Children’s Hospital ambassadors also attended the event to share their stories and engage with students.
This was the program’s 30th anniversary, which has raised over $2.4 million for Children’s Hospital since its creation. VOLthon is the University of Tennessee Knoxville's largest student-led philanthropy.
