East Tennessee Children' Hospital Named a Safe Sitter Gold Level Provider

East Tennessee Children's Hospital's Safe Sitter Program has been named a 2022 Gold Level Safe Sitter provider. This means our program has trained over 125 young people in 2022 in the proper techniques of safe babysitting.

Hospital instructors help area young people ages 11-14 learn correct babysitting techniques, emergency responses and how to use babysitting as a business. Classes are offered monthly at the new Discovery and Innovation Simulation Center on the hospital campus.
