Virtual Butterfly Run is a Big Success for Children's Hospital
East Tennessee Children’s Hospital’s Butterfly Run, the hospital’s first-ever virtual race, has raised more than $105,000. The race was changed to a virtual format this year due to COVID-19 restrictions. Race participants donated to Children’s Hospital and completed a 5K or 10K during the week of August 1-8, at a location of their choosing. Several runners shared photos on social media using #ButterflyRun to show support for the hospital.
All proceeds will help Children’s Hospital purchase life-saving medical equipment to continue to provide the very best medical care for children.
