• Children's Hospital has been approved as a cleft palate team by the Commission on Approval of Teams.
  
  
• Children's Hospital is accredited as a cystic fibrosis care center by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
  
  
• Children’s Hospital is the only sleep medicine center in East Tennessee that is dedicated to pediatrics and accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
  
  
• The Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital has been reviewed by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME®) and awarded accreditation for 4 years as a provider of continuing medical education (CME) for physicians.  This designation assures the medical community and the public that Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital delivers education that is relevant to clinician’s needs, evidence-based, evaluated for its effectiveness, and independent of commercial influence.
  
  
• Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the North Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
