Supporting local families
Dr. Nicole Lopez, medical director of North Knox Pediatrics, with Faith, age 18 months
Children’s Hospital office practices are convenient to you for your child’s well visits, sports physicals, or little bumps and bruises.
It’s important that your child stays up-to-date on vaccines and immunizations to prevent childhood illness. Also, as we go into cold and flu season, remember to get your annual flu vaccination.
“It’s absolutely critical that families stay on their vaccination schedule for their child,” says Dr. Nicole Lopez from North Knox Pediatrics.
“Last year, we saw a lot of people not coming into the doctor’s office for fear of exposure to COVID. It’s a very real fear, and I understand that. However, the last thing we need during a pandemic is an outbreak of a vaccine-preventable disease.”
