Tennessee's 'Champion' is a Children's Hospital patient

How You Can Help!

Make an online donation:
We have created a way for you to give to Children's Hospital directly through our website. The link to our "Make a Donation" page will take you to a secure server where you can help Children's Hospital treat the sick and injured children of this region at the click of a button. Every gift -- whether small or large -- makes a difference in the life of an East Tennessee child.

Be a volunteer:
Since the first CMN telethon in 1983, WBIR-TV 10 and the East Tennessee community have raised about $25 million for the direct benefit of Children's Hospital and its patients. On January 27, Children's Hospital will need volunteers to help make this year's telethon the most successful ever by assisting as phone bank operators, with food preparation, and with audit and tabulation. If you would like to be a telethon volunteer, call (865) 541-8441 or 541-8165.

Call (865) 544-1010 or (877) 587-1010 (toll-free) to make a pledge!
Children's Miracle Network is a unique national fund-raising effort in that every dollar stays in the area where it is raised. That means when WBIR viewers call in their pledges, 100 percent stays here in East Tennessee to help the thousands of children treated at Children's Hospital.

If the people of this area can consistently fill the University of Tennessee's Neyland Stadium on a football Saturday, they can support a place that takes care of the health of their children. You can be a part of saving children's lives. Please call (865) 544-1010 during the telethon, January 27, to make a pledge or make a donation now on-line and make a difference in the lives of countless children.

Make an in-kind donation.
There are many other ways to help the telethon in addition to donations of time and money. Donations of food and drinks for volunteers, catering supplies, food, flowers, set decorations and other in-kind donations enable Children's Hospital to save funds designated for these items and use the money to benefit our patients.

Be a Champion for Children:
For 26 years, the East Tennessee community has supported Children's Hospital through the Children's Miracle Network telethon. One easy way to get involved - and raise awareness - for the telethon is to be a Champion for Children on Friday, January 25. Just purchase a telethon T-shirt and wear it that day. It's an easy and inexpensive way to help kids, show you care, and raise awareness for the Children's Miracle Network telethon live on WBIR-TV 10 January 27. The telethon T-shirts are available through the Children's Hospital Development Department at (865) 541-8567.
