The volunteer leadership of the 2008 Fantasy of Trees – composed of several hundred local volunteers coordinating dozens of committees -- is joining together to donate "Blankets of Love" to the Florence Crittenton Agency in Knoxville.

The Florence Crittenton Agency is for young women in crisis, providing them with a special community that gives them a sense of belonging. These young women come to FCA from all areas of society, and through support, guidance and education, they can rebuild their lives. The Florence Crittenton Agency helps them discover a sense of identity and direction to reshape their future and allows them to leave with a renewed sense of hope.

Fantasy of Trees volunteer leaders will collect new fleece blankets to donate to FCA for use by the young women and their families. Our "Blankets of Love" will be featured at a display at the Volunteer Recognition scene at Fantasy. After Fantasy concludes, the blankets will be delivered to the Florence Crittenton Agency.

This project of the Fantasy volunteers will help warm hearts long after the 2008 show has ended!
