FOT Volunteers Helping Students of Non-Traditional Schools Enjoy Some Needed "Suppers" this holiday season And We Need Your Help

The entire volunteer leadership structure of Fantasy of Trees is joining together to donate Food City, Ingle's, Kroger, Target and Wal-Mart Gift Cards to help meet the needs of students in Knox County's area Non-Traditional Schools.

Non-Traditional Schools are a part of the Knox County School system and include students from pre-school age to young adult who have a variety of special needs. Many of these students have behavioral or emotional problems. School staff working with these students especially need support to provide food and gifts for identified students and their families during the holiday season.

Fantasy of Trees wants your help in "Sharing Suppers." By purchasing a gift card valued at $5 or $10 (or more), you can help these students and families enjoy a better holiday season. The gift cards will be featured at a special display at the show and presented to staff at these schools soon after the show ends. The cards will be used to purchase food and household items to fill gift baskets.

Send your grocery gift card donation via your team leader, or you may bring your donations to any of the following: October 8th Kick-Off Party (more information on this event to be sent later); the Volunteer Services and Resources Office at Children's Hospital prior to November 14th; or deliver to FOT Office on the Saturday of set-up. As we celebrate "Jingle All the Way Home…", we ask for your support to make "Sharing Suppers" a success.
