AT THE 2008 FANTASY OF TREES . . .
 Consider making a commitment to participate as a designer for the 24th annual Fantasy of Trees to benefit Children's Hospital.
You will join the very best of this region's volunteers, sponsors and contributors who bring together their finest talents to showcase the essence of the holiday spirit ... a shining example of how individuals, businesses, civic clubs, churches, schools and youth organizations are committed to working together to bring the magic of the holiday season to all of East Tennessee. Help us continue this wonderful tradition by volunteering to participate!

General information for the Designer Promenade
Your donation of one or more fully decorated designer items not only showcases your talents but also raises funds for Children's Hospital through the sale of your donated item.
Each category comes with its own recognition, which includes a sign featuring your name and the title of your design, acknowledgment in the Fantasy of Trees program and complimentary tickets. All donations and materials displayed will constitute a donation to the Fantasy of Trees and will be sold and delivered to the purchaser. (Exception: scene enhancement furnishings; see guidelines below).

 Designers will provide:
- Completed designer item(s), chosen from listed categories, to be sold with all proceeds benefiting Children's Hospital.
- All decorations, lights, tree skirt, multi plug strip, extension cord, and merchandise and/or decorations under the tree.
- Appropriate titled theme for signs.
- A signed Donor Inventory Sheet listing value (dollars spent) of all decorations.
- Benefactor, Specialty Tree and Open Room Vignettes: 8' x 10' rug/floor covering and all furnishings for "in the round" (open on all sides) display. (Only the tree and any decorations under the tree are donated to the Fantasy of Trees.)
- All decorations on, above and below the fireplace mantels in the Hearth and Mantel category, and all decorations on 6' Slimline tree.
- All decorations on Wreath Stand, including wreath.
- All Tiny Trees, Door Designs and Centerpieces.
The Fantasy Of Trees will provide:
- High quality artificial trees and stands for 3' through 8' tree categories.
- 4' wrought iron wreath stand.
- Hearth and mantel display, wall with 5' mantel.
- Spotlights to exhibit each item.
- A fair market price for each item with consideration to designer's inventory, creativity of design and ability to command a competitive price within the Fantasy of Trees market -- all to benefit Children's Hospital.
- A fair and equitable complimentary ticket plan. See the chart above for the complimentary ticket plan for larger donated items. For designers of Miniature Trees, Table Top Trees, Door Designs, Centerpieces, Wreath Stands, Fireplace Swags and Tiny Trees, the following formula will be used to determine complimentary tickets. The formula is based on a combination of the value of the contribution and creativity as follows: Inventory Value (dollars spent creating the donated item) + $100 In-Kind Contribution (for time and creativity) = Total Donation Value. Donations valued at $100-$249 will receive 5 show tickets; donations valued at $250-$399 will receive 10 show tickets; and donations valued at $400-$549 will receive 15 show tickets.
