The Fantasy of Trees has been a holiday tradition in East Tennessee since 1985, and this year's event marks the 26th year of this celebration of the season. This year's show is November 24-28 at the Knoxville Convention Center.
In 2010, this special holiday event will showcase a theme of "A Holly Jolly Christmas," highlighted with whimsical decorations and wintry designs that celebrate and showcase the fun and festive holiday season with reindeer at play, this year's "hot holiday colors" of lime green and bright reds, and twinkling snowflakes, glitter and lights.
The Fantasy of Trees features hundreds of sparkling designer-decorated holiday trees; a variety of festive and colorful decorations from poinsettias and lights to floral presentations and glittering snow; holiday gift shops with unique items for everyone; a wonderful village of gingerbread houses; the “Fantasy Theater” featuring continuous live entertainment; special events including a Babes in Toyland Parade and Santa’s Senior Stroll; and dozens of children’s activities including visits with Santa and hands-on holiday crafts.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 4-12, and free for children under age 4.
