Kids' Activity Book

This is a great activity book the Child Life Department uses in the hospital. It has lots of cute things for kids to do.
USDA - MyPyramid Blast Off Game

An interactive computer game where kids can reach Planet Power by fueling their rocket with food and physical activity. “Fuel” tanks for each food group help students keep track of how their choices fit into MyPyramid.

JDRF Kids Online

JDRF Kids Online, from the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, includes a section for newly diagnosed kids with diabetes, information about managing diabetes day-to-day, pen pals, stories about adult role models and artwork and stories submitted by kids.

Kids Ask Cal - If you like baseball, you've probably heard of Cal Ripken Jr. He spent 21 years in the major leagues and holds the record for most consecutive games played — 2,632 games for the Baltimore Orioles. Today, he's a retired player who is a leader in youth sports.

Helping Sam Hear - In January 2006, a blue-eyed 3-month-old baby named Sam was diagnosed with profound hearing loss. His parents, Chris and Teresa, found comfort and hope as they learned that a cochlear implant could one day help Sam to hear.
