Kohl's merchandise promotion
5/7/2012
This summer shoppers at area Kohl’s department stores can purchase a special merchandise collection featuring children’s books and plush animals as well as several summer-themed cookbooks that adults will enjoy – and benefit Children’s Hospital at the same time.
Area Kohl’s department stores located in Farragut, in the Deane Hill Shopping Center near West Town Mall, and on Washington Pike near the Knoxville Center are offering 10 different items for only $5 each, with all the proceeds benefiting Children’s Hospital.
Included are the following children’s books in hardback editions, all by author Tony Mitton and illustrated by Guy Parker-Rees: Dinosaurumpus, Giraffe’s Can’t Dance and Down by the Cool of the Pool. In addition, plush animals featured in each book are available.
Outdoor cooking enthusiasts will enjoy Good Housekeeping’s Grilling book featuring more than 120 recipes, and Pops! Icy Treats for Everyone offers dozens of recipes for cool treats to enjoy this summer. A fun summer tote bag rounds out the collection of Kohl’s special items to benefit Children’s Hospital.
All of these items are now on sale at area Kohl’s stores. In 2011, Kohl’s spring, summer, back-to-school and Christmas promotions raised more than $101,000 for Children’s Hospital.
